1) Environment is stronger than will power (Tony Robbins)
If your unwell or unhappy, you can almost guarantee that the environment you wake up in and work in every day is going to play a role. We all know that we “feel” better when we go on a holiday or reconnect with nature. The fact is that we work to much and we become disconnected from ourselves and our environment. Sometimes we just need time, away from distractions to reconnect with our selves, the world we live in and the people around us. Change the environment that you wake up in for 3 days and notice what changes, if in nature even better.
2) Surround yourself with positive people that build you up

If you are unwell or unhappy, just step back and look at the people that you spend the most time with. Are they allowing you to be your authentic self, do they support or suppress you?, do they build you up or put you down?, are you trying yo keep up with the “jones’s”, are you comparing yourself to broke, unhappy people? Imagine if you chose to spend you time with people who supported you, built you up, challenged you to grow and empowered you to be a better version of yourself.
3) Cut the crap ” Learn what not to eat”
Food can be the slowest form of poison. We live in a toxic world. Internally and externally.

First step is to stop the “crap” “toxins” getting in. If you do no harm, like Hippocrates says, then you don’t need to heal. If it’s not grown (vegetables, fruits, plants) or from a known source (animal based products). DONT eat it. If it has had things sprayed on it that you wouldn’t ingest straight out of the bottle, then don’t eat it.
4) Eat local, seasonal plant based whole foods, organically (water soluble) sourced.
“We are what we eat”. What we eat now will represent what our body looks and functions like in 12 months time. Think about that for a second. If you have an issue in your body now, look at what you did 12 mths ago, or over that period.
Our bodies rely on building blocks that it can recognise. Imagine your body as a temple. It is made of bricks and you are trying to repair it with something similar to bricks, like stones of different sizes or mud or even something completely different like lego. Your using plastic lego to fix your beautiful temple daily. It makes sense that over time the temple will start to age, structurally fail, start to show cracks or signs and symptoms, the plumbing and electrics would start to function poorly and maybe not at all. Eventually the structure fails, lies in ruins or ceases to exist. Match your temple with the building blocks it needs to function normally and watch the “other symptoms” start to miraculously disappear.
These building blocks are simply put “90 base building materials you need daily” James Rhoades. The big building blocks Macronutrients (Carbohydrates, Fats, Proteins) and the little building blocks and connectors known as Micronutrients (vitamins, minerals and trace minerals). Use the 80/20 rule of plant based “grown” and animal based products as a simple guide. Aim for Whole
foods initially and supplement for what you can’t get in your environment or in your lifestyle.
5) Do something for yourself “Daily Hour of power”
We all know that exercise and movement makes us feel better, when we can control our thoughts and be more positive we feel better and when we eat well we feel better. Imagine if every day you could add in just 1 hour of power, where you do something for yourself and your body.
20mins: Physical: Motion is lotion: walk, yoga, run, swim, beach, gym. Something you enjoy.
20 mins: Mindset: See “omvana” application and 6 phase meditation or distract your mind by doing something you love.
20 mins: Nutrition: Green smoothy or juice (vegetables > Fruit)
6) Do something nice for someone else.

There is something therapeutic about going out of your way to do something nice for someone else without any expectation of receiving. Often the gesture will go without acknowledgement and you will still feel happy on the inside, no matter how big or small the gesture is. It might be buying someone else a coffee in the morning, a meal for a homeless person on the way to work, calling someone to let them know you love them, respect or are grateful they are in your life.
I know it seems backwards, but when you feel unhappy or disconnected or even just content. Do something for someone else and watch what happens.
